Axles and suspension
The guiding principle for the design of Caron axles and suspension systems is simple and clear: ensure adequate comfort and optimum driveability over all the terrain the vehicle might have to negotiate. Rigid axles (AR / ST, C, CT, and CTK Series), mechanical suspension (CT-M and CTK-M Series), hydropneumatic suspension (CT-S Series): Caron’s ability to offer customized solutions provides a choice of the best transporter suspension for each type of use.
4-Wheel steering
The 4-wheel steering version, available on the CT-S and CT/CTK-M vehicles, guarantees a high level of manoeuvrability. Switching from standard mode to “circle” mode significantly reduces the turning radius, while ‘crab’ mode allows special manoeuvres and transit over transverse slopes by locking the rear steering at an ideal angle. Switching from one mode to the other is very easy with a convenient selector control. The display, supported with acoustic signals, shows all relevant information and makes operating the system safe and intuitive.
Gearbox
Precise, smooth, and carefully designed in every detail to facilitate easy safe driving even on steep terrain or in limited manoeuvring space, the manual gearboxes and the recently developed Agilematic automated gearbox are among Caron’s technological gems.
Braking system
The braking system is a key element for vehicle handling and driveability in the many complex contexts and terrains over which they might travel, from high mountains to steeply sloping vineyards and orchards.

Caron chooses only the best engines from the most prestigious brands, focusing on efficiency and environmental sustainability to ensure maximum performance and low consumption.
Display and troubleshooting
The display improves the work experience by providing operators with important data and feedback in real time for optimum vehicle operation and maintenance.
4.0 Technology
The transporters can be equipped with 4.0 technology including a GPS tracking system that allows vehicle operating parameters to be detected remotely, greatly improving management of routine and extraordinary maintenance.
